4RFM Wins QCAA Synaco by Synergie Safety Award 2022
4RFM has won the prestigious Synaco by Synergie Safety Award at the 2022 Queensland Community Achievement Awards and was presented by Synaco by Synergie National Safety Manager Rino Caprioli.
The winners were announced on Friday 18th November 2022 during the Awards Gala Presentation Dinner with Kendall Gilding, 7NEWS Presenter as the MC for the evening. Over 200 guests gathered from across the State to celebrate Queensland’s high achievers.
Certificates of achievement were presented by Bart Mellish MP, Assistant Minister to the Premier for Veterans’ Affairs and COVID Economic Recovery.
4RFM of Moranbah is a community radio station dedicated to promoting Road Safety. They have been holding a Road Safety Week since 2019. In 2022, they ran a poster design competition, which would be transferred to vinyl banners to hang on school fences. They also hold a special Road Safety parade with schools, where kids can ask questions to Emergency Services attending the parade.
The seven category winners are:
- Melissa Redsell – Australia Pacific LNG Community Hero Award
- Steve (Sunny) Whitfield – Mauri Mosaic and Mount Nathan Winery Leadership Award
- Multicultural Social Network – Bendigo Bank Community Group of the Year Award
- Marc Newman – Evolt Health and Wellbeing Award
- Small World Journeys – Ricoh Australia Customer Service Award
- Therapy And Dance Association Inc. – Special Event Presentations Local Sporting Club Making a Difference Award
- 4RFM – Synaco by Synergie Safety Award
Steve (Sunny) Whitfield was also announced as the 2022 People’s Choice Award Winner.
Winners each received $2,000 in prizes along with a trophy.
The Awards night culminated a tremendously successful year with hundreds of nominations received from across Queensland.
