Role: Rigger/Fitter (3 positions)
Location: Glenfield
Project Duration: 6 months (with potential for further assignments)
Our client is seeking three experienced Riggers/Fitters to play a vital role in a 3-phase structural steel erection project at a prominent location in Glenfield. The successful candidates will not only contribute to the success of this 6-month initiative but could transition seamlessly to other projects upon its completion.
Key Details:
Start Date: January 22nd, 2024
Working Hours: 6:45 am starts, 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the installation of structural steel components for building frameworks, conveyer belts, and stairs.
- Ensure precision and compliance with engineering specifications.
- Execute tasks at elevated heights (up to 10 meters) while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Work closely with the project team to interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Efficiently operate rigging equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
To be considered for this position you must have:
- Proven experience as a Rigger or Fitter in structural steel installation projects.
- Possess valid Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and Working at Heights (WAH) tickets.
- Hold a valid White card
- Must be safety conscious
- Good communication
- Be reliable and punctual
