Retail Assistant – Confectionery Store
Location: Rowville, VIC
Hourly Rate: $32.06 per hour
Start Date: Immediate (if successful)
Shifts: 2-3 days per week, through to January
Synaco Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a leading confectionery store in Rowville, VIC, seeking enthusiastic Retail Assistants to join their team.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fun and fast-paced environment at a chocolate and confectionery store. As a Retail Assistant, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, assisting with inventory management, and supporting day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, assisting with product selection and offering recommendations.
- Bagging & Packaging: Efficiently package chocolates and confections, ensuring all orders are prepared beautifully and accurately.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock replenishment, organization of store shelves, and maintaining stock levels.
- Cash Handling: Operate the register, process payments, and handle transactions with accuracy.
- Store Presentation: Maintain a clean and tidy store, ensuring it is welcoming and organized for customers.
- Support Seasonal Displays: Help set up promotional displays and assist with holiday-themed setups.
Key Requirements:
- Previous retail experience is preferred, but not essential.
- A passion for customer service and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in inventory and product presentation.
- Availability to work 2-3 days per week, until January.
- Immediate start if successful.
