Synaco by Synergie is seeking dedicated and skilled Process Operators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining in and around the process plant to ensure efficient production while upholding the highest safety and environmental standards.
Our client, located in the Northern Territory, offers a lifestyle-friendly 7 on: 7 off FIFO roster on an ongoing basis for the right candidates. Chartered flights are provided from Darwin or Cairns, with interstate candidates responsible for their travel to one of these departure points. Onsite meals and accommodation are included. A site-specific pre-employment medical examination and drug and alcohol screening are required prior to mobilisation.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor mining and processing equipment such as crushers, mills, conveyors, and screens.
- Perform routine inspections, sampling, and testing to ensure processes meet specifications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report mechanical or process issues.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with environmental standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in mining, processing, or industrial operations using CAT and Hitachi equipment.
- Experience operating CAT 980-992 Loaders, Excavators (minimum 30T), Bobcats, and or Dozers (D9 & D10).
- RII machinery tickets relevant to the above.
- Current Heavy Rigid open licence.
- Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including operating machinery and working in various weather conditions.
