Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a new challenge in Perth? We are recruiting for several clients from the defence industry to civil construction and mining sectors.
Shift: Monday to Friday
Rate: $50 + penalties
Locations: Henderson / Forrestdale
Job Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations of components and systems.
- Perform basic failure analysis to identify specific failure modes.
- Properly tag or bin all received parts and forward documentation to the workshop supervisor.
- Adhere to the agreed start and finish times.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in work areas.
- Follow 5S practices to keep the workshop organized and clean.
- Handle specific housekeeping tasks as requested.
- Clean, return, and report any damage to workshop tools and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and take care of company items such as vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Requirements:
- Australian Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience
- Proficiency in Hydraulics is advantageous
- Clear pre-employment medical assessment
- Eligibility for and maintenance of a Defence access pass, including police/security clearance checks
