Our client is seeking a reliable and skilled Coordinator to oversee a team of 2 within their liquid waste management operations. This role involves working in a dynamic, hands-on environment where you will be responsible for ensuring efficient coordination of daily operations in a plant that processes both mud and liquid waste. The facility is divided into two key sectors, and the ideal candidate will need to be comfortable working in this industrial setting, managing both operational and team responsibilities.
This is a temp-to-perm position, with the expectation that the successful candidate will treat it as a permanent role. Our client is looking for someone who is committed and ready to integrate fully into their team for long-term success.
Location: Dandeong South VIC
Pay Rate: $44.65 per hour
Shift: 2pm – 10pm
Employment Type: Temp to Perm (Permanent opportunity for the right candidate)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the work of a small team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Manage tasks in the liquid waste and mud processing sectors, maintaining high operational standards.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
Troubleshoot issues and manage plant operations effectively to meet production targets.
Maintain a strong focus on teamwork, communication, and leadership in a challenging industrial environment.
Key Requirements:
Forklift license (Mandatory)
HR License (Desirable)
Machine Operator tickets (Desirable)
Waste Management experience preferred or similar industrial/plant work background.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Ability to adapt to the demands of a fluid, industrial work environment.
