Role Overview:
We are looking for a Customer Service Officer, to join the teamin Wetherill Park on an ongoing basis (Monday – Friday from 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm).
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the frontline representative of the business. Your primary responsibilities will include providing accurate information on products, generating quotes, managing freight costs, and ensuring precise data entry for order processing. Additionally, there will be opportunities for growth and advancement as you develop your skills in estimating through training and on-the-job experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate information to customers regarding products, specifications, and prices within pricing guidelines.
- Generate accurate quotes for customers while maintaining appropriate margins.
- Ensure freight charges are applied appropriately to recover business costs.
- Maintain accuracy in data entry during order processing.
- Work closely with the Branch Manager
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
- Willingness to learn and develop estimating skills through training and experience.
