CNC Machinist

• $50p/h Flat rate
• Monday – Friday 6am – 4:30pm (Flexible)
• Temp to Perm Opportunity
• Excellent workshop in Canning Vale
• Immediate start with permanent opportunities.

Relationships and Authority:

• Respectful and friendly working environment
• Report to: Workshop Leading hand and site Manager
• Liaise with: Manager, Planner, Admin & all staff.
• External contacts: Customers from time to time

Scope:

• Operate CNC Machinery on a day-to-day basis – Fanuc & Siemens experience Preferred.
• Ensure work is carried out in a safe manner in a team environment. 
• Implement continuous improvement in processes, systems, and safety procedures.
• Work closely with Leading hand to meet customer service expectations.
• Provide relevant feedback to the Leading hand and site Manager for continuous product improvement.
• Adhere to OH&S and Environmental policy and procedures.
• Perform relevant work tasks as directed by the workshop Leading hand.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in CNC Machining
• Trade certificate or equivalent in a Machining background.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Operate Gantry crane to help set up jobs.
• Forklift license desirable but not essential.
